Old Interview With Kurt Cobain Surfaces Saying White People Shouldn’t Rap

An old interview of Kurt Cobain was just posted  by a guy named Robert LoRusso who interviewed Kurt back when he was a radio DJ in college. He asked Kurt about a comment he said about white rappers and he said quote, “But the white man doing rap is just like watching a white man dance. We can’t dance, we can’t rap.” More here

Cage The Elephant Teasing New Album 

Looks like Cage The Elephant is about to drop a brand new album soon. They tweeted quote, “Record done. Mixed. Mastered.” Their last album came out in 2015. More here

Rock Legends Getting Together For Chris Cornell Tribute

A ton of rock legends are getting together on January 16th to perform at “I am The Highway: A Tribute to Chris Cornell.” The tribute will feature members of Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of the Dog, Foo Fighters, Metallica and Ryan Adams. Jimmy Kimmel is hosting and it will take place at The Forum in LA. More details here

Lorde Calling Kanye Out For Stealing Her Stage 

Lorde is pissed and calling Kanye West out for stealing her stage design. She posted several stories on Instagram about it. She said quote, “I’m proud of the work I do and it’s flattering when other artists feel inspired by it, to the the extent that they choose to try it on themselves,” Lorde wrote in a caption for the final photo. “But don’t steal—not from women or anyone else—not in 2018 or ever.” More here

Fred Durst, Flea & More Artists Evacuated From California Fires

The California fires are still happening and several celebrities had to evacuate and even lost their homes. Fred Durst actually lost his house and posted about it on Instagram. Also, the bassist Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers had to leave his house as well. Tool’s guitarist Adam Jones also isn’t sure how his house is doing at this point. More details here

Tom Cruise Will Actually Fly Jets In “Top Gun 2?”

According to sources, Top Gun 2 is on hold because Tom Cruise wants to learn how to fly a fighter jet for his scenes. Movie Web says quote, “

"He won't film all the flight sequences, it's too dangerous, but he will fly some, making him the first actor in cinema history to do so.” Tom is known for wanting to do his own stunts in the movies he’s in so this is no different. Read more here

Jack White Mad About Homophobic Situation At His Show

 At a Jack White show recently a woman and her girlfriend were kissing when a staff member walked in between them and allegedly told them to stop and that it was quote, “very violating and invasive.” Word got back to Jack about this and he was not happy. He posted an old photo of two women kissing at a Beatles show on Instagram and said quote, “It’s 2018 now and two people expressing affection shouldn’t have to hide.” He added “lets promote love and acceptance wherever and whenever we can.” See the post here

Alec Baldwin Arrested For Allegedly Punching Guy Over Parking Spot 

Alec Baldwin got arrested last week for allegedly getting in a fight with a dude over a parking spot in New York. According to TMZ, Alec had a friend holding the spot for him and another guy took it so he got out and punched him. He was charged with misdemeanor assault and harassment. He denied punching the guy. Dave Grohl Says Artists Like Marilyn Manson Ended 90s Grunge

Dave Grohl is speaking out in a new interview about the change of music from the 80’s through the late 90’s and how certain artists really changed the scene. He pretty much says the grunge era came after the big 80s hair stars and it was just a bunch of dudes who liked playing rock music in garages. Then things changed and he said quote, “

“Then Marilyn Manson gets big, and you’re like oh cool, now you’ve got something that is really fantastic to look at, it’s really moving, and really powerful.” Read more here

Beastie Boys Revealed Who “Sabatoge” Is About 

According to the new Beastie Boy autobiography, their popular song “Sabotage” is actually written about quote,” an annoying recording engineer.” Apparently this guy was getting very frustrated with them when they were recording their album because they were going too slow and he would quote, “blow a fuse and get pissed off at us and scream that we just needed to finish something, anything, a song. He would push awful instrumental tracks we made just to have something moving toward completion.” Read more here

Bob Saget To Host Edgier Version Of “America’s Funniest Home Videos”

Bob Saget is apparently going to host an edgier version of “America’s Home Videos” called “Videos After Dark.” According to a source it will quote, “feature more “adult-oriented content.” Apparently they’ve been saving some of these inappropriate videos for a while ever since Bob originally hosted back in 1989-1997. The 1975’s Matt Healy Apologized To Mom For Addiction 

Matt Healy from The 1975 is apologizing openly to his mom about his heroin addiction. In a new interview with Q, he said quote, “

“You can’t be a parent and have that kind of thing [his drug addiction] out there and not think, “Well, why didn’t I… You think it’s your fault, d’you know what I mean? When it’s completely not.” More here
