Armored Humvee stolen from US Army Reserve Center

SAN MARCOS, Texas — Police are searching for an armored vehicle that was stolen from a reserve center in late November.

The San Marcos Police Department confirmed the theft via email, saying that an unknown person or persons got into the fenced area of the U.S. Army Reserve Center and stole an up-armored Humvee.

The vehicle was likely stolen sometime between the evening of Nov. 22 and the morning of Nov. 28, KSAT reported.

Officers with the San Marcos Police Department are working with the Army Special Investigation Division to locate the Humvee.

The Humvee is tan-colored and has a gun turret on the roof. The vehicle number “399 TPC A1-6″ is displayed on the front and rear bumpers. Police said there are no weapons or sensitive electronics in the vehicle.
