Machine Gun Kelly honors Chester Bennington during London concert

Machine Gun Kelly paid tribute to late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington during a recent concert in London.

Speaking with the crowd, Kelly recalled how he was set to open for LP on their 2017 tour, which was scheduled to begin just days after Bennington died by suicide in July 2017.

"The last time I saw [Bennington] was here in Europe," Kelly said. "So I encourage you, because life is short, to go live this life."

"I know it's hard, man, I know this s*** is f***ing hard," he continued. "But nights like tonight make life worth it. So I hope when you leave here you find more nights like this, and that you live this short life. I love you very much."

Kelly then segued into his 2019 song "Glass House," which features the lyric "Last time I got off the stage, I looked Chester in the face/But now he gone, and ain't no going back."

Fan-shot footage of Kelly's comments was posted to YouTube by user DemonetisedByYoutube aka UnBoxPHD.
