25-year-old St. Augustine woman killed in crash on I-95

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol investigated a deadly crash on Interstate 95 southbound on mile marker 314 just north of County Road 214 early Monday morning.

FHP stated that a 25-year-old woman driving a sedan was driving south on I-95 in the center lane behind a semi-truck.

According to the report, the 25-year-old woman was driving fast behind the semi-truck, causing her to collide with the rear of the truck.

This caused the car to rotate clockwise into the right grass shoulder. The semi-truck made a final stop on the right shoulder.

The 25-year-old woman driving the sedan was pronounced dead. The 41-year-old driver of the truck had no injuries.
