Brittany Howard details 'Jaime Reimagined' remix album

Alabama Shakes' Brittany Howard has announced the details of Jaime Reimagined, a remixed version of her 2019 solo album, Jaime.

The long in-the-works record, which was first announced last fall, will be drop on digital formats July 23, followed by a physical release on September 24.

"Making Jaime was so much fun for me because I was able to explore so many different genres of music," Howard explains. "There were no rules. This reimagination project has been no different."

She adds, "I have been honored to have so many incredible artists from all musical worlds interpret my songs in such interesting and different ways."

Among those artists are Childish Gambino, Common, Bon Iver, Michael Kiwanuka, EARTHGANG, and Little Dragon.

Howard is set to return to the road this summer and fall with sets at festivals including Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and Outside Lands, along with dates supporting My Morning Jacket. She's also playing a headlining show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on September 18.
