Jacksonville Craft And Import Beer Festival

If you went to last year's Beerfest, then you were probably impressed by the selection on ales on hand. An even more impressive selection of American craft beers and imported beers from around the world will be available to sample at the 3rd Annual Jacksonville Craft and Import Beer Festival. For those who celebrate and search for great beer join us at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena, to experience the rich, bold, and unique flavors you can only get at this event.

The 2011 Jacksonville Craft and Import Beer Festival promises to be even bigger and better than last year. We invite you to join us and your fellow beer enthusiast to sample over 35 different breweries with well over 200 beers to taste. Several local restaurants are participating and serving up great food to pair with the wide selection of beer samples. Several different live music acts will keep you entertained and your feet taping.

This event will also be hosting a silent auction and other prize give-aways with proceeds going to the Southside Businessmen's Club Charities, Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, Jacksonville USO, and No More Homeless Pets. This festival allows you to not only sample some of the absolute best beers in the world, but also learn more about them.  You will get an inside look at the industry and be put on the short track to becoming a beer aficionado.

*Only the 1st 2000 participants are guaranteed a collectible sample glass.

WHERE CAN I GET TICKETS?
You can go to iwantabuzz.com and purchase them through the BUZZ. You can also buy tickets the day of the event at the Jacksonville Memorial Arena.

ARE THE TICKETS FROM TICKET MASTER AND IWANTABUZZ.COM OR THIS SITE ANY DIFFERENT?
NO. They are the exact same and get you into the event, but due to copywrite information they are designed differently.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE VIP AND GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS?
VIP starts at 6pm and General Admission starts at 7pm.  VIP guests will be able to sample high-end and specialty beers not available to General Admission.

CAN I UPGRADE MY GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS TO VIP TICKETS?
NO, we are not allowing upgrades with tickets this year.  If you bought a General Admission ticket and want a VIP ticket, you need to call us at 232-3001 to set up an appointment to come to our office to change your ticket.  All sales are final after 5/18/11 and no changes will be accepted.

WHERE CAN YOU PARK?
Parking will be available in the parking decks to the north and south of the arena, as well as parking in the stadium parking lot near the Baseball Grounds and Everbank Field.

WILL THERE BE ANY OTHER BEVERAGES BESIDES BEER AT THE EVENT?
Yes.  Soda and water will be available.  No wine or liquor.

HOW OLD MUST YOU BE TO ENTER THE BEER FESTIVAL?
21 years old or older.  No exceptions.

DO YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR BEER OR FOOD?
No.  The purchase of the ticket allows you to sample as much food and beer as available.

WILL THERE BE FOOD AT THE EVENT?
Yes, there will be food to sample from several of the restaurant sponsors at the event.

WILL BEER BE SOLD AT THE EVENT OR PACKAGED BEER TO BE PURCHASED AFTERWARDS?
No.  Only beer to sample.

IS THERE A SPECIALTY TICKET OR A LOWER COST TICKET FOR SOBER/DESIGNATED DRIVERS?
No.  The ticket is to get you into the event whether or not a participant chooses to drink the beer at the festival.

CAN YOU USE A CREDIT CARD TO PURCHASE TICKETS?
Only in advance online, via here can you use a credit card.  To purchase tickets the day of the event at the gate is CASH ONLY.  Please plan accordingly.

WILL THERE BE ATM'S TO GET CASH?
Yes, near the Arena, there are ATM's by the baseball grounds.

WILL THERE BE ACCESS TO CABS OR ALTERNATIVE SAFE RIDES HOME?
Yes.  We are working with all major cab companies as well as Safe Driver Programs to provide several different options to get home safe.

CAN I LEAVE TICKETS AT WILL CALL?
No.  For this event there is no will call.  You must either purchase a ticket ahead of time and present it when you arrive or purchase one at the event.
