Coheed and Cambria, and Taking Back Sunday have announced they are teaming up to tour the United States this summer. That tour makes a stop right here in downtown Jacksonville at the Daily’s Place Amphitheater!

Tickets for the tour will go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 23 at 10am at this link

Artist pre-sales start Wednesday, February 21 at 10am.

Both artists have been to town before with Coheed and Cambria headlining #ROTR4. Check the galleries of their meet & greet here, and full set here

They also played acoustically for a small group earlier that day. Check the video below:

Taking Back Sunday has played Jacksonville a few times over the last 7 years, but we definitely have a favorite. TBS took the Met Park stage in 2011 for our Big Ticket Festival. Adam and John sat down backstage for an interview with us before their set:

Both of these bands have a steep history performing for X crowds in Jacksonville. Back in 2013 30 Seconds To Mars co-headlined our Big Ticket festival (check the gallery here!). It was also backstage at this show that we found out that Jared Leto wanted manhole covers for his birthday from fans, and that Shanon Leto is 4’11”:

That’s not to say Walk The Moon hasn’t had their legendary moments with us here in Jacksonville. These include multiple performances at Big Ticket (including 2015, and 2017 sets!). The real Walk The Moon fans however will remember sitting in the lobby of a Jax hotel on Southside Boulevard after a canceled promo at Town Center. The band, feeling bad that the rain ended up cancelling a fun night, invited all 30 fans who showed up back to the lobby of their hotel for an impromptu acoustic. While our official cameras weren’t there, a few fans posted the fun on YouTube (here, and here).

Another one of our favorite WTM moments came the first time they performed a live acoustic at our studio. The highlight of the performance happened when a listener asked drummer Sean Waugaman during the set if he could grab a slice of pizza from under the box which Waugaman was using to play rhythm. Fast forward the video below to 2:30 to see it happen:
